I have now worked in financial services at many different levels for over 30 years. Previously working for a Financial institution and then changing roles 6 years ago to be able to get closer to customers and deliver a high standard of service for the mortgage and protection advice I offer, along with the pensions and investment services I provide.

I am a friendly and personable individual who can adapt to clients of all backgrounds, ensuring I can meet the needs of everyone who I meet. I spend time getting to know and understand their requirements, find a solution from the providers available, and then make sure that my customers know what they can expect in terms of next steps, taking care of the administration and process for them.

I am happily married to Lorraine with 3 sons who are all grown up and left home, following their own careers.  Having moved from Yorkshire to Devon 21 years ago I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, either on the moors or near to a beach.  In my spare time I like to spend time cycling, watching football and rugby and just relaxing with my family.

My focus is always to make sure I can find the most suitable solution available for both the mortgage and protection from the lenders and insurers alike or the investment and pension solutions to make sure that my client’s needs are satisfied.

Mortgages can be a minefield, especially for First Time Buyers, so it’s my job to take the stress away and make the buying, remortgaging and moving process as simple and straight forward as possible.

I have worked in customer services ever since I was old enough to work meaning I’m great with people, and can convey complex information clearly and concisely to new and existing clients.

I’m passionate about insurance and ensuring my clients, their families and their homes have the right level of protection. This means that if something bad was to happen, my clients have peace of mind and financial security with a taylor made protection solution.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my partner and 2 children. My Saturdays are usually spent watching my son play football and my Sundays usually include some time at the beach as my daughter and I love living by the sea. I also enjoy listening to music, eating out and going on holiday.

I joined W&P Limited in January 2021 after previously working in estate agency and property auctions. Outside of work I am kept busy by my two young children as well as enjoying spending time outside and all things food related.
